My Little Hamlet
Medium Red Bandana Piggy
I adore piggy banks and have since I was a little girl. When I saw some ceramic pigs, all the same but in three different sizes, I had a burst of creativity and decided to play with them. I decoupaged red bandana print fabric on this one, added his little eyes and some foam pads to keep his feet from scratching the tables. Then I fell in LOVE with it!
I went back and got several more of them and decided to play with them, using different techniques and media. I have one that is hand drawn black on white with Jacobean style florals and scrolls, another that is a combination of fabric and hand drawn illumination, another tiny one with country colors patchwork and another with fussy cut floral paisley fabric.
As I make more, they'll be posted, but please remember that each one is unique and individual. I couldn't make two exactly alike if I wanted to!
